Velvet Dusk Publishing (est. 2016) is affiliated with the poetry video journal Frameless Sky. Based in the US, we seek poetry from both established and emerging authors. As our name suggests, we want you to capture your day’s fleeting moments in words. We want to hear your authentic voice—that restless murmuring inside you—akin to unseen birds at the edge of twilight. Let your joys, wonders, pains, and wounds bleed onto paper in the form of poetry that bursts with vibrant colors, fresh imagery, and a lot of dreaming room. Share your experiences with us and invite us to dip our toes in the world of your boundless imagination.

Submission Guidelines:
1) All manuscripts should be submitted as an MS word document. It should include the title, dedication, and when
appropriate, an acknowledgments page. Manuscripts should be paginated and formatted in an easy-to-read font such as
Garamond or Times New Roman.
2) Include your cover letter and short bio note in the body of the email.
3) Please submit 20 to 50 poems (ebook), 30 to 60 poems (chapbook), or and 60-100 poems (full-length book)
for consideration.
4) At least 30% of the pieces in your manuscript should be unpublished.
5) Kindly send your manuscript to us at [email protected].
6) Please submit only one manuscript per reading period.
7) Simultaneous submissions are fine, but we do ask that you notify us or withdraw your manuscript if your book is
accepted elsewhere.
8) There is no fee to submit.
9) We welcome unpublished collaborative writing.
10) Details of our publication arrangements are available on request.
11) Our ebooks will be made available as downloadable PDFs from our website.
